Business Development/Sales Manager

Commercially astute Business Development/Sales Manager required to drive profitable growth. With a proven selling track record gained from within a variety of market sectors; – you will be a dynamic, results driven leader, capable of establishing and developing lasting relationships within a diverse client base. Able to find and develop new customers, you will own and manage the quotation process from initial enquiry through quotation and ultimately on to supply. You will be capable of leading the project management of larger commercial programmes, operating at a variety of levels within our prestigious Customer base.

You will likely have a mechanical engineering or technical sales background and be fully capable of discussing detailed drawing/design related requirements.

You will manage all aspects of the sales and commercial function, this includes the day to day communication with existing customers, developing new customers and building a broad understanding of the industry and marketplace. You will take responsibility for the management of incoming orders, costing, forecasting and performance reporting along with the direct control of a small sales team.

Experience:

Sales experience gained within the High Pressure Diecasting Industry would be highly desirable, alternatively a Plastics injection moulding or precision engineered component sales background would be advantageous. A strong technical knowledge and an understanding of the production process and its capabilities would also be of benefit. Marketplace knowledge and a proven ability to generate new business from both established and new customers is essential.
