Who you are

  • 6+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition or Recruitment, ideally within tech or high-growth startup environments
  • Proven experience hiring for technical roles (engineering, product, data)
  • Experience partnering directly with founders or senior leadership teams
  • Background in in-house recruitment, startup environments, or specialist tech recruitment agencies
  • Strong stakeholder management and advisory skills
  • Excellent sourcing capability and ability to build talent pipelines
  • Deep understanding of startup hiring challenges and scaling teams quickly
  • Data-driven approach to recruitment and hiring decisions

What the job involves

  • Employer Branding - Help develop compelling employer branding for [Employer hidden β€” view at passion-project.co.uk]. Work with the the Head of People to articulate company missions, culture, and employee value propositions to attract top talent
  • Talent Acquisition Strategy - Develop and execute hiring strategies for multiple early-stage and scaling tech companies. Partner with founders and senior leadership to forecast hiring needs and workforce planning. Build scalable recruitment frameworks suitable for startup environments
  • Full Lifecycle Recruitment - Own the end-to-end recruitment process from role definition through to offer and onboarding. Manage hiring across technical and non-technical roles including engineering, product, data, design, sales, and operations. Deliver an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Stakeholder Management - Act as a trusted advisor to founders and hiring managers on recruitment strategy and market trends. Challenge hiring briefs and provide guidance on role design, compensation benchmarking, and candidate expectations. Ensure alignment between hiring goals and business growth plans.
  • Recruitment Process Optimisation - Implement best practices in interview design, assessment frameworks, and structured hiring. Improve recruitment data tracking, reporting, and hiring performance metrics. Introduce tools and processes that improve speed, quality, and scalability of hiring.
