The Licensing team at [Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] is looking for a Licensing Solicitor to manage a caseload of high calibre work and clients. The role involves preparing applications, liaising with authorities, advising clients, and conducting legal research. Candidates should have a 2:1 legal degree and ideally 2 years PQE as a Licensing Solicitor.
Key Responsibilities
- Confidently manage your own caseload of high calibre work and clients - Prepare Licensing applications - Liaise with Licensing Authorities and other Responsible Authorities - Deal with resulting queries - Advise clients in relation to their matters - Handle confidential information - Conduct legal research - Assist other team members when required - Assist with marketing and business development efforts
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
You will: - Have a minimum of a 2:1 legal degree. - Ideally have 2 years PQE as a Licensing Solicitor, NQ solicitors who have had a previous experience in a paralegal role in licensing will be considered. - Possess excellent client care and communication skills. - Have a sound knowledge of IT systems and processes, such as the Microsoft suite. - Be a hard-working and highly-motivated individual with the ability to work cohesively as part of a larger team.
