Graduate Engineer
Southampton
MFD Communication Infrastructure Limited (MFDCI) provide an independent, specialist consultancy service for communication and related infrastructure. That is everything from climbing surveys and structural investigations, to structural analysis and the development of fully engineered solutions.
We are currently recruiting for a permanent, full-time Graduate Engineer. The role will entail working on an interesting portfolio of projects, within a variety of environments such as ports and airports as well as for a variety of government and private sectors Clients in both the UK and Overseas.
Our Expectations
• A Graduate Engineer, with a relevant degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (BEng, BSc, MSc, or MEng);
• Willingness to gain experience in a range of relevant analytical software packages and 3D modelling;
• Ability to become conversant in proprietary software e.g. MSTower and Autodesk Robot;
• Work to Eurocodes;
• Commitment to continuous professional development;
• Working towards Chartership of the Institution of Civil Engineers; and
• Hold a full UK driving Licence.

Applicants should ideally have a 2:1 or above Civil / Structural Engineering Degree, a ‘B’ or above Maths A-Level, and a ‘C’ or above in your remaining A-Levels. Post-graduate qualifications are not a requirement but will be of interest where they are in a relevant subject.

Training
MFDCI are working with the Institution of Civil Engineers to develop an Approved Training Scheme and can provide structured training to candidates seeking Chartership.
