Senior Modelling Analyst

Your future position

This role will enable our continued build-out of our S&D product suite. This individual will be responsible for maintaining and developing our in-house supply and demand models, as well as contributing towards content generation for [Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk]’s Insight product. This position will have a commercial focus where there is a strong connection between research, our commercial teams, and [Employer hidden]’s clients and prospects.

Your mission is to:

• Use your experience to build and expand our supply and demand models through the enhancement of existing tools
• Assist in pre-sales efforts by conveying [Employer hidden]’s view through our S&D and other internal datasets
• Identify and report on key developments in the oil and refined products space as part of [Employer hidden]’s Insights offering
• Contribute to the production of company webinars and external presentations
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key market players
• Collaborate with the product and technical teams to further develop our portfolio of client offerings

You could be a match if you are or have:

• 5+ years of prior experience analysing crude or refined products markets
• 3+ years running an S&D balances for crude or refined products
• Experience in producing independent market analysis and insights
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Skilled at conducting complex analyses across multiple datasets using advancing data analytics tools
• Experience with Excel, SQL, Python, R or other data science tools
• Willingness to take the initiative, own your research, and be accountable
• Intellectual humility and an openness to feedback
• Collaborative mindset
