This is an excellent opportunity for a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join a reputable NHS hospital based in Wirral, UK

The successful Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to patients with mental health conditions.  

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires excellent communication skills, a compassionate nature, and the ability to work well under pressure. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Providing nursing care and support to patients with mental health conditions, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans
  • Administering medication and treatments as prescribed by physicians and psychiatrists
  • Working closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure patients receive the best possible care
  • Providing support to families and carers, as well as helping patients to manage their conditions and improve their quality of life
  • Monitoring patients' progress and responding to changes in their condition
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and reports
  • Participating in training and development activities to enhance knowledge and skills

To be considered for this role, the ideal candidate must meet the following requirements: 

  • Valid in-date Nursing and Midwifery Council's (NMC) membership
  • At least 6 months of working experience with a valid UK visa
  • Vaccinated against Hep B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Tuberculosis, and COVID 19
  • Has a valid DBS certificate that is on the DBS update service
  • Has a valid MAPA or Bild Accredited PMVA training certificate
  • Indemnity Insurance

In addition to the above requirements, the candidate should possess the following qualities: 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate nature and ability to work well under pressure
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
  • Car driver is desirable but not mandatory
