FULL DESCRIPTION

Salary: £27,203 per annum

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (exclusive of meal breaks)

Contract Type: Permanent, subject to six months’ probation

Commis Chef

The Commis Chef will assist the Head Chef, Deputy Head Chef and Section Chefs in consistently producing the highest possible standard of food for our students, staff, Fellows and conference guests, and will contribute to the introduction of innovative dishes to enhance the overall dining experience for our customers.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge and a passion for food, and holding or working towards a professional chef qualification would be an advantage. If you have a positive ‘can do’ attitude and are the kind of person who jumps in to help to ensure service is never compromised, we would love to meet you.
