FULL DESCRIPTION

[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] are currently recruiting for an Outdoor Teacherwith a minimum Level 3 Childcare qualification to join our stunning Forest School team site in Newmarket.

This role is a full-time or part-time position, where your main duties will be nurturing and caring for the development of children and facilitating the awe and wonder of learning outside the classroom.

Duties:

  • Plan, deliver, organise and run forest school sessions that promote learning in an outdoor environment and reflect the ethos of the nursery in a fun and engaging way.
  • Maintain a safe and welcoming environment, ensuring the forest school area is safe for the children and staff by compiling risk–benefit analyses and implement risk management systems.
  • Build positive and successful relationships with colleagues, children, and parents in line with our ethos: "Excited about learning; excited about life!"

Requirements of the role:

  • Living and working in the UK with full rights to do so.
  • A Full and Relevant Level 3+ Childcare qualification
  • An enhanced DBS check (we will apply for this).
  • Knowledge of Safeguarding and EYFS.
  • First aid, basic food hygiene and safeguard training desirable, but training is provided.
  • Previous experience in early years
