FULL DESCRIPTION

Speech and Language Therapist

- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech, language, and swallowing abilities. - Develop and implement individualised treatment plans based on assessment results. - Provide therapy sessions to patients, utilising evidence-based techniques and interventions. - Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient care and rehabilitation goals. - Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with regulatory standards.

  • Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to speech-language pathology.
  • Understanding of anatomy as it pertains to the respiratory system, vocal cords, and oral structures involved in communication.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families.
  • Strong organisational skills for managing caseloads effectively while ensuring quality care delivery.
