[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] is seeking a Head RVN for an independent veterinary practice in Farnborough. The role involves managing the nursing team, overseeing clinical standards, and contributing to the practice's growth. The position offers a salary up to £38,000 plus benefits.

The Role:

This is a full time position (flex for part time if interested in RVN role), with commitment of 1 in 4 Saturdays required.

As the Head RVN, you will be the direct line manager of our team of nurses’ & report directly into our Operations Director. The new HRVN will oversee rotas, staff training and development, clinical standards, growth opportunities and patient pathways within the nursing team and have overall responsibility of the nursing quality of our services. Mentoring students and new graduates, facilities maintenance and recruitment also will come under your remit where required.

You should be a confident Nurse with a significant amount of post-registration experience in a small animal clinic. Exposure to referral services and a clinical coaching certification is also a bonus.

The Organisation:

We have evolved from a small 1 vet practice into one of the market leaders of veterinary care in the Hampshire area employing over 2 dozen RVNs – with plenty of Vets and support staff on the books as well. Our growth is not stopping any time soon and we are due to open an additional practice later this year. Across the team, we have access to all things general practice, and are lucky to be supported by advanced practitioners to offer orthopaedic referrals, CT Scanning and a variety of other 2nd opinion services. Interests range from all things general practice, advanced imaging and referral orthopaedics so we are becoming a real one stop shop for all out clients needs.
