Unqualified Nursery Assistant – West Horsley, Surrey, KT24

We are delighted to share an exciting opportunity for a Nursery Assistant to join our Outstanding nursery in West Horsley, Surrey, KT24.

Our purpose-built setting, surrounded by beautiful countryside, offers a nurturing environment where children can grow, explore, and connect with nature. Guided by the Montessori philosophy, our nursery supports children from babyhood to preschool in developing confidence, independence, and curiosity.

This role is perfect for someone enthusiastic, motivated, and eager to build a long-term childcare career. The successful candidate will be supported in gaining their Level 3 Childcare Qualification through fully funded in-house training.

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest standard of care and early education
• Work collaboratively with a passionate team
• Celebrate and support children’s learning and development
• Assist with planning and delivering fun, interest-led activities
• Build strong, positive relationships with parents and carers

About You

• Have at least 1 year of childcare or nursery experience
• Be motivated to achieve a Level 3 Childcare qualification
• Hold GCSE English & Maths (required for L3 training)
• Have Safeguarding and EYFS awareness
• Be passionate about outdoor learning and inclusive practice
• Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and colleagues
• Be eligible to work in the UK
