Salary: £28,000–£30,000 per year

Hours: 40 hours/week | Monday–Friday | Shifts between 7:30am–6:30pm (rotating weekly: 7:30am–4:30pm or 9:30am–6:30pm)

Contract: Full Time | Permanent | All Year Round

We are seeking a passionate Deputy Room Leader / Senior Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly preschool team in Finchley.

Based within our preschool classroom and within walking distance of Finchley Central station, this role is ideal for practitioners looking for a new challenge in a supportive, well-established nursery open all year round (except Bank Holidays & 2 weeks at Christmas).

Responsibilities

• Promote positive relationships with parents, children, and colleagues

• Deliver innovative, engaging activities to support children’s learning and development

• Work collaboratively within a tight-knit team to ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of all children

• Support key children and their families in line with EYFS principles

About You

• Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification (full and relevant)

• Minimum 1 year’s experience as a nursery practitioner or similar role

• Commitment to outdoor learning and inclusive practice

• Excellent communication skills with parents and carers

• Eligible to work in the UK
