FULL DESCRIPTION

Senior Nursery Practitioner – Seer Green, Buckinghamshire, HP9

Salary: £13.00–£13.50 per hour / Up to £28,000pa (DOE)

Hours: 40 hours/week | 4 or 5 days | Shifts between 7:30am–6:30pm

Contract: Permanent | All Year Round

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Nursery Practitioner to join our expanding nursery in Seer Green.

Based in our Preschool room, this role is perfect for a practitioner with early years’ experience looking to make a difference in children’s learning and development.

There is also the option to take on a Room Leader role if you wish to progress further. Our nursery values career growth and supports staff in achieving their goals through development plans, training, and internal progression.

Responsibilities

  • Promote positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Plan and deliver innovative activities to support learning and development
  • Ensure children’s health, safety, and wellbeing at all times
  • Work collaboratively with the team in line with EYFS principles

About You

• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare

• 1+ years’ previous nursery or early years experience

• Strong leadership skills and team management experience

• Passionate about early childhood education

• Excellent communication skills with parents, staff, and wider community

• Knowledge of safeguarding and health & safety standards

• Eligible to work in the UK
