We are excited to announce an opportunity for a passionate Early Years Practitioner to join a lovely nursery in Southampton, Hampshire, SO14. Early Years Practitioner – Southampton, Hampshire, SO14

Salary: £12.50 – £14.00ph | Up to £29,120pa (Depending on hours, experience, and qualification)

Hours: 40 Hours per week | 4 or 5 days | Shifts between 7.30am–6.30pm

Contract: Permanent | All year round (*Not suitable for school hours or term-time applicants)*

Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver activities that support children’s learning, development, and play, in line with the EYFS framework
• Observe and assess children’s progress, keeping records and communicating with parents or senior staff
• Provide care and supervision, ensuring children’s safety, wellbeing, and hygiene
• Support children’s social and emotional development, encouraging positive behaviour and interactions

About You
• Hold a minimum Level 2 qualification in Early Years (full and relevant)
• Previous experience as a nursery practitioner or similar role
• Strong EYFS and safeguarding knowledge
• Strong commitment to outdoor learning and inclusive practices
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with parents and carers
• Eligible to work in the UK
