Early Years Practitioner – Englefield, Berkshire RG7

Salary: £12.50–£14.00ph / Up to £29,120pa (Depending on experience/qualifications/age)

Hours: 36–40 Hours | 4 or 5 Days | 8:00am–6:00pm | Permanent, all year round

Early Years Practitioner – Englefield, Berkshire RG7

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a passionate Early Years Practitioner to join our nursery team in Englefield, Berkshire (RG7).

This is a small, friendly rural nursery caring for children aged 6 months to 5 years. The successful candidate will work in a warm, nurturing environment, supporting children’s early learning and development, contributing to a calm and supportive approach that fosters independence, confidence, and curiosity.

This role is ideal for both experienced practitioners and newly qualified professionals eager to grow their early years career within a team-focused, supportive setting.

Responsibilities
• Provide the highest level of childcare and early education experiences
• Work collaboratively as part of a passionate nursery team
• Support the running and development of the nursery
• Celebrate children’s learning and development with children and families
• Use knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to plan and implement activities

About You
Minimum Level 2 qualification in Early Years (full and relevant)
• Previous nursery/childcare experience
• Driver preferred due to location (unless local)
• Good literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE English and Maths or equivalent)
• Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS, child development, and safeguarding
• Positive, professional attitude with flexibility and resilience
• Genuine passion for supporting children’s individual learning journeys
• Eligible to work in the UK
