Nursery Room Leader – Bath, Somerset, BA2

Salary: £31,824 per annum

Days/Hours: 36 hours per week | 4 days (1 rolling day off) | Shifts between 7:30am–6:30pm

Contract: All Year Round / Permanent

We are delighted to offer an excellent opportunity for a passionate Nursery Room Leader to join our supportive and experienced team.

This role will be based in either the preschool or toddler room and is ideal for an Experienced Practitioner ready to take the next step into leadership.
We are looking for an energetic, creative, and committed professional who is confident supporting both children and colleagues, and who is motivated to make a genuine difference within Early Years education.

Responsibilities

  • Act as key person, supporting children’s emotional wellbeing, safety and development
  • Lead your room with confidence, creativity and consistency
  • Build strong partnerships with families and colleagues
  • Promote inclusive practice and work alongside the Senior Team and regional SENDCo
  • Encourage healthy habits and positive attitudes towards food and physical activity
  • Champion safeguarding and ensure every child’s voice is valued

About You

  • Hold a Level 3 or above Early Years qualification (full and relevant)
  • Have previous Nursery Practitioner experience
  • Demonstrate strong EYFS and safeguarding knowledge
  • Have experience mentoring or supporting staff development
  • Show leadership potential and initiative
  • Have experience working with children with SEND (desirable)
  • Be eligible to work in the UK
