Early Years Practitioner – Shepherd’s Bush, London, W12

Salary: £13.00–£15.00 per hour (£27,040–£35,100 per annum DOE)

Days/Hours: Full Time | 40–45 hours per week | Shifts between 8:00am–6:00pm

Contract: All Year Round / Permanent

We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to become part of our welcoming, independent nursery in Shepherd’s Bush, London. This full-time position offers the chance to work alongside a supportive and experienced team, helping to create a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment for children aged 3 months–5 years.

In this role, the Early Years Practitioner will contribute to delivering high-quality childcare and early education in line with the EYFS framework. You will support children’s learning and development through engaging activities, observe and track progress, and help promote each child’s wellbeing. Building positive relationships with parents and carers will also be an important part of the role.

Responsibilities

  • • Promote positive relationships with parents, children, and colleagues
  • • Innovate with activities, and constantly challenge your children’s learning and development
  • • Work effectively and cooperatively alongside our team and ensure the health, safety, and well-being of the children at all times.
  • • Support the team in building relationships with the children and their families according to the EYFS.

About You

  • • Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above)
  • • Previous experience working in a nursery setting
  • • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
  • • Passion for child development and high-quality early education
  • • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
