Nursery Manager – Wantage, Oxfordshire, OX12

Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum (DOE/Qualifications)

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, shifts between 7.30am–6pm

Contract: Permanent, All Year Round

We are seeking a passionate Nursery Manager to lead our friendly, dedicated team in Oxfordshire.

Our nursery offers a warm, supportive environment where children thrive through fun, engaging learning experiences. As Nursery Manager, you will bring your enthusiasm, EYFS knowledge, and leadership skills to ensure high standards of care, education, and compliance across the setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • • Lead, support, and inspire the nursery team
  • • Ensure compliance with regulatory and safeguarding standards
  • • Deliver engaging educational programmes aligned with the EYFS
  • • Manage budgets, resources, and daily operations
  • • Build strong relationships with children, families, and staff

About You

  • • Previous Nursery Manager or Deputy Manager experience
  • • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare (full and relevant)
  • • Proven leadership and people management skills
  • • Strong knowledge of safeguarding, EYFS, and health & safety
  • • Passionate about early childhood development
  • • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • • Eligible to work in the UK
