Nursery Practitioner / Deputy Room Leader – Dalston, London, N1

Salary: £30,500 (DOE)

Days/Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, shifts between 8am–6pm

Contract: All Year Round / Permanent

We are delighted to offer an opportunity for a passionate Nursery Practitioner / Deputy Room Leader to join our friendly nursery team.

You will have the chance to make a real impact on children’s development and wellbeing. As a Deputy Room Leader, you will guide and support a dedicated team of educators and be ready to lead the room in the Room Leader’s absence. Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality childcare and early education experiences for all children
  • Work as part of a passionate staff team and contribute to the running and development of the nursery
  • Celebrate and communicate children’s learning and development with families
  • Plan and implement interest-led, engaging learning activities using EYFS and child development knowledge

About You

• Hold a minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification (full and relevant)

• Have previous experience as a Nursery Practitioner / Room Leader

• Demonstrate strong commitment to outdoor learning and inclusive practices

• Possess excellent communication skills for interacting with parents and carers

• Be eligible to work in the UK
