Nursery Room Leader – Horsley, Surrey, KT24

£30,160 / Year

Nursery Room Leader – Horsley, Surrey, KT24

Salary: £30,160 per year (depending on experience and qualifications)

Days/Hours: 40 hours per week | 4 or 5 days | Shifts between 8:00am–6:00pm

Contract: Permanent / All year round

We are seeking a kind, passionate Nursery Room Leader to join our OUTSTANDING, purpose-built Nursery.

Set within beautiful countryside surroundings, our setting offers children the opportunity to learn, explore and grow in a calm, natural environment. This role would suit an experienced Nursery Practitioner or existing Room Leader looking for a new challenge within a supportive and values-led team.

Responsibilities

  • • Lead your room with creativity, care and confidence
  • • Deliver high-quality childcare and early education
  • • Inspire and support your team to deliver the curriculum
  • • Build strong relationships with children and families
  • • Track children’s progress using curriculum-linked observations via the Family app
  • • Champion safeguarding, health & safety and inclusive practice

About You

• Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification (full and relevant)

• Previous experience as a Nursery Practitioner or Room Leader

• Strong knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding

• Passion for children’s development and emotional wellbeing

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Commitment to professional development

• Eligible to work in the UK
