FULL DESCRIPTION

Nursery Practitioner – Caterham, Surrey CR3

Salary: £28,782–£31,950 per year (depending on qualifications and experience) Hours: Monday–Friday | 41–45 hours | Shifts between 8am–6pm | Permanent, all year round

We are seeking a passionate Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our welcoming and friendly nursery team in Caterham, Surrey (CR3). Situated within a beautiful park setting, our nursery offers woodland access, a play park, and our own garden, creating an enriching environment where children feel safe, loved, and confident to explore. We are a warm, close-knit team, and we are looking for someone reliable, organised, and experienced, particularly with under 2’s and babies.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality childcare in line with EYFS and all regulatory requirements
  • Create engaging, creative, and developmentally appropriate learning environments
  • Ensure children’s safety, wellbeing, and safeguarding are prioritised at all times
  • Support children’s learning through play with a strong understanding of child development
  • Build positive, professional relationships with parents and colleagues
  • Contribute to the smooth, happy running of the nursery
