Early Years Practitioner – Forest Hill, London, SE23

We are seeking a passionate Early Years Practitioner to join our excellent nursery in Forest Hill, London SE23. We are committed to providing high-quality early education, promoting safeguarding, and creating a nurturing environment for young children.

Salary: £13.00 per hour / £27,000 per annum (depending on experience, qualifications, and age)

Hours: 40 hours across 4 days / Shifts between 8am–6pm

- *Not suitable for term-time or school-hours applicants*

Responsibilities

• Provide high standards of physical, emotional, social, and intellectual care
• Support colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment
• Implement daily routines and engaging activities
• Ensure children’s safety, wellbeing, and developmental progress

About You

• Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification (full and relevant)
• 1+ year experience as a Nursery Practitioner or similar role
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding, and ratio requirements
• Ability to plan fun, engaging, child-led activities
• Friendly, approachable, and confident working within a team
• Excellent communication skills with families
• Eligible to work in the UK
