We are excited to announce an opportunity for an enthusiastic Nursery Room Leader to join our super nursery in Abingdon, Oxfordshire (OX14).
Our team are warm, caring and highly motivated. All staff are encouraged and supported in further training in general childcare and more specialised areas such as Special Educational Needs, as well as practical skills like food hygiene. We are now looking for someone to help lead our team who is passionate about childcare and providing the best start for all children. We strive to make children feel secure and develop their own likes and interests, learning through play.

Responsibilities
- • Providing the highest level of childcare and early education experiences for all children in the nursery.
- • Lead your age group room with creativity and care
- • Inspire and support your team to deliver our unique curriculum and uphold our values
- • Build strong relationships with children and families, ensuring a smooth settling-in process
- • Champion safeguarding, health & safety, and inclusive practice at all times
About You
The ideal candidate will:
• Hold a minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years (full and relevant)
• Have previous experience as a nursery practitioner or room leader role
• The ability to work as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent organisation skills
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to outdoor learning and inclusive practices
• Be eligible to work in the UK
