Early Years Practitioner – Farringdon, London, EC1A

Salary: £32,000 per year (depending on experience and qualifications)

Days/Hours: 42.5 hours per week | Monday–Friday | Shifts between 8:00am–6:00pm

Contract: All Year Round / Permanent

We are seeking a passionate Early Years Practitioner to join our independent Nursery.

Our setting is thoughtfully designed to encourage independence, curiosity, and child-led exploration in a warm, welcoming environment. We are proud to support professional growth, with ongoing training aligned to Ofsted best practice.

This role is ideal for a newly qualified practitioner starting their career or an experienced practitioner looking for a fresh challenge.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain learning journeys and share progress with parents and carers
  • Follow safeguarding procedures to ensure children are safe and secure
  • Plan and deliver activities based on individual interests and development stages
  • Maintain high standards of safety, hygiene, and cleanliness
  • Build strong partnerships with parents and carers
  • Deliver engaging, interest-led learning in line with the EYFS

About You

• Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification (full and relevant)

• Previous nursery or childcare experience

Strong understanding of EYFS and safeguarding

Commitment to inclusive and outdoor learning

Excellent communication skills

Eligible to work in the UK
