FULL DESCRIPTION

Nursery Room Leader – Seer Green, Buckinghamshire HP9

Salary: £29,000–£30,000 per year

Hours: 40 hours per week over 4 or 5 days | Shifts between 7:30am–6:30pm

Contract: Permanent, all year round

Note: Not suitable for term-time or school-hours applicants

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a passionate Nursery Room Leader to join our expanding nursery near Seer Green (HP9). Based in the Preschool room, this Nursery Room Leader role is ideal for a strong Early Years practitioner ready to step into a leadership position, with the opportunity to also take on Third in Charge responsibilities if desired.

As a Nursery Room Leader, you will help create a safe, engaging and inclusive learning environment where children thrive through play and exploration. This Nursery Room Leader position offers the chance to lead a supportive team while contributing to the development of high-quality early years education.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Preschool room as a Nursery Room Leader and support the wider nursery team
  • Plan engaging activities that support children’s learning and development
  • Promote positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
  • Ensure high standards of care, safety and wellbeing
  • Support the team in building strong family partnerships in line with EYFS

About You

  • Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification (full and relevant)
  • At least 2 years Nursery Practitioner or Nursery Room Leader experience
  • Strong leadership and team support skills
  • Passionate about early childhood education and development
  • Good knowledge of safeguarding and health & safety practices
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Eligible to work in the UK
