Unqualified Nursery Assistant – Wandsworth, London, SW18

Salary: Up to £13.12 per hour (depending on hours, experience and qualifications)

Hours: 40 hours per week | 4 or 5 days | Shifts between 7:30am–6:00pm

Contract: Permanent, all year round

We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Unqualified Nursery Assistant to join our supportive nursery team.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
• Support engaging, age-appropriate activities and learning experiences
• Ensure children’s safety, wellbeing and happiness at all times
• Work collaboratively as part of a close-knit nursery team
• Support key children and their families in line with the EYFS

About You

• Previous experience as a Nursery Assistant or similar childcare role

• Passion for early years education and child development

• Caring, patient and nurturing approach

• Good understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Successful DBS check and two satisfactory references required

• Eligible to work in the UK
