Salary: £12.50–£14.50 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications) Hours: Part-time | Monday–Friday | 9:00am–4:00pm (30 min lunch break) Contract: Permanent, all year roundNot suitable for term-time only applicants
We are seeking a passionate Nursery Chef to join our friendly, independent nursery in Chiswick, London. You will prepare nutritious, balanced meals from scratch for children, manage dietary requirements, develop menus, and ensure high standards of kitchen hygiene. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve delicious, nutritious meals daily
- Cater for dietary requirements and allergies
- Maintain high hygiene standards in the kitchen
- Plan menus, manage budgets, and order food
- Support staff in engaging children with healthy eating
- Assist with catering nursery events as required
About You
- Minimum 1 year’s experience as a Nursery/School Chef or Cook
- Skilled in managing dietary requirements and allergies
- Highly organised and able to work autonomously
- Flexible and adaptable to changing nursery needs
- Committed to safeguarding and confidentiality
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Eligible to work in the UK
