Nursery Practitioner – Wokingham, Berkshire, RG40

We are excited to welcome a dedicated Early Years Practitioner to our warm and friendly nursery in Wokingham, Berkshire (RG40). Caring for children aged 3 months to 5 years, we provide a nurturing, bespoke experience focused on outdoor learning, sustainability, and a child-centred approach. Our goal is to help every child grow with confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning.

Nursery Practitioner – Wokingham, Berkshire RG40

Salary: £12.25–£13.80 per hour (depending on experience) Level 2: £25,466–£27,144 per year Level 3: £27,958–£28,686 per year

Hours: 40 hours over 4 days | Shifts between 7:30am–6:00pm Permanent, all year round Not suitable for term-time or school-hours applicants

Responsibilities

  • • Create inspiring, creative, and engaging learning environments
  • • Ensure children’s safety and wellbeing through strong safeguarding knowledge
  • • Implement the EYFS with a solid understanding of child development
  • • Build positive partnerships with parents, carers, and external professionals
  • • Maintain a positive attitude with children, colleagues, families, and visitors

About You

  • • Minimum Level 2 Early Years qualification (full and relevant)
  • • Previous nursery practitioner experience • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • • Able to build and maintain positive working relationships
  • • Eligible to work in the UK
