Early Years Practitioner – 4 Days a Week (Bath, Somerset, BA2)

Location: Bath, Somerset (BA2)
Salary: £27,400–£32,901 per annum (depending on experience and qualifications)
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent, All Year Round
Hours: 36 hours across 4 days per week (one rolling day off), shifts between 7:30am–6:30pm

Based in our Preschool or Toddler Room, you’ll play a vital role in nurturing, inspiring, and supporting children through fun, engaging, and inclusive learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a key person, ensuring each child’s safety, wellbeing, and development
  • Plan and deliver engaging activities following the EYFS framework
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Promote inclusive practice, supporting children with SEND where required
  • Encourage healthy habits and active lifestyles
  • Contribute to safeguarding and uphold nursery standards at all times

About You

  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare (full and relevant)
  • Proven experience in a nursery or early years setting
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures
  • Confident mentoring and coaching abilities
  • Experience supporting SEND children (desirable)
  • Leadership potential with strong initiative and teamwork skills
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK
