Before and After School Club Playworker – Long Eaton, Nottingham NG10

Salary: £14.46ph | £11,673.90pa (Including accrued holiday pay)

Hours: 21.25 Hours per week | Monday–Friday | Split shifts: 7:30am–9:00am & 3:00pm–5:45pm
Contract: Permanent | Term-time only
You must be able to work all 5 days and both shifts

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a passionate Level 2+ Playworker to join a friendly and supportive team, working within a Breakfast and After School Club in Long Eaton, Nottingham (NG10).

Playworker Responsibilities
• Supervise and engage with children during play and activity times
• Plan and deliver age-appropriate games, crafts, and recreational activities
• Ensure the safety, wellbeing, and safeguarding of all children
• Support snack and mealtime routines
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised play environment
• Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding children’s wellbeing
• Support new staff and contribute to a positive team environment
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, and regulatory requirements

About You
• Level 2 Childcare qualification (or above)
• Previous experience in early years, wraparound, or childcare settings
• Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
• Good understanding of safeguarding, health and safety, and childcare regulations
• Ability to create inclusive, engaging environments for children
• Eligible to work in the UK
