Maintenance Operative

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out day-to-day maintenance and minor repairs across multiple nursery sites
- Respond to maintenance requests and prioritise urgent issues
- Assist with compliance checks, including fire safety, health & safety and equipment inspections
- Support external contractors while they are working on site
- Help maintain safe, clean and secure environments across all settings
- Keep accurate records of work completed and report any issues to the Facilities Manager
- Assist with site set-ups, room changes, moves and small installation projects
Essential Requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- Practical DIY or maintenance skills, with previous experience desirable
- Reliable, punctual and organised
- Friendly, approachable and professional manner
- Motivated with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
