Responsibilities include multidrop deliveries, vehicle checks, basic repairs, adherence to traffic laws, and providing updates to the logistics manager. Candidates must have a valid class 1 license and HIAB qualification, with good customer service and organizational skills.

ROLE OVERVIEW
We’re recruiting an HGV Driver to join our team, delivering specimen trees and plants safely and on time to designated customer sites. You’ll ensure every load is handled correctly and that each customer receives outstanding care with every delivery.

The ideal candidate is self‑motivated, reliable and proficient, with the initiative, and creativity to get the job done to a high standard.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Multidrop deliveries throughout the UK. Follow efficient delivery routes.
- Completing daily vehicle checks and maintaining drivers logs for the vehicle.
- Performing basic repairs and maintenance in the event of accident or breakdown while in transit.
- Strictly adhere to UK road traffic laws and [Employer hidden]’ driving rules.
- Providing accurate and timely updates to the logistics manager.
- Ensure safe loading and unloading of all goods.
- Maintaining good standards of Health and Safety.
REQUIREMENTS
- Candidates must hold a valid class 1 license.
- Candidates must hold a valid HIAB Operator Qualification with an accredited body.
- Excellent understanding of transportation legislation including driving hours and Tacho laws.
- A strong commitment to safety and compliance.
- Manual handling training and experience.
- Good customer service and interaction skills.
- Good organisation skills and can work well independently.
- Familiarity with GPS or similar devices.
SALARY RANGE
Full time position
24 Days Holiday
Salary £40-45K subject to experience + healthcare.
