Product Manager

We are is one of the UK’s most trusted providers of independent financial information, ratings and market intelligence, helping consumers, advisers and financial institutions make smarter financial decisions. Role Overview: Product Managers at [Employer hidden] play a critical role in turning strategy into action.

Working closely with a Product Director, you will help own the day‑to‑day success and evolution of our products, balancing the needs of today’s customers with the opportunities that will drive future growth. You’ll take responsibility for defined products or product areas within a market vertical, acting as a bridge between strategy, delivery and commercial outcomes.

Your role spans both Operate and Grow:

Operate: is about ensuring our products are healthy, valuable and delivering the outcomes we expect right now.

Grow: is about translating longer‑term strategy into tangible, deliverable progress.

Department: Product

Workplace type: Hybrid

Reporting To: Chief Product Officer

What you'll do

Operate:

  • Monitor product performance, including adoption, usage, customer feedback and commercial indicators.
  • Identify areas where products are under‑performing and work with delivery, commercial and customer teams to define and execute improvement actions.
  • Own and prioritise BAU and improvement work within your area, ensuring effort is focused where it delivers the most value.

Grow:

  • Work with the Product Director to turn strategic themes and opportunities into clear, prioritised roadmap increments.
  • Help validate opportunities through discovery, analysis and learning, feeding insight back into strategic decision‑making.
  • Define success measures for each increment and ensure that what we deliver creates measurable customer and commercial impact.
  • Across both Operate and Grow, you’ll work closely with Product Owners and engineering teams to ensure priorities are clear, outcomes are understood, and delivery is focused on real customer and business value — freeing up Product Directors to focus on the bigger, longer‑term opportunities.

How you'll do this:

  1. Engage directly with customers and partners: understand workflows, pain points and emerging opportunities.
  2. Own execution and outcomes: monitor product performance and customer signals, identifying improvement opportunities and driving action. Own and prioritise roadmap increments within your area, balancing customer value, commercial impact and delivery feasibility. Define success metrics for each increment and track benefits realisation after launch.
  3. Bridge strategy and delivery: work closely with the Product Director to translate proposition strategy into tangible plans. Partner with Product Owners to ensure increments are clearly scoped, outcome‑focused and ready for delivery. Drive go‑to‑market activity for your increments, working with Commercial and Marketing teams to support adoption and revenue impact.

What you'll need to succeed:

We’re looking for a Product Manager who is comfortable turning strategy into execution, and who takes ownership of outcomes rather than just roadmaps.

Essential requirements:

  • Solid experience working on SaaS products in an agile delivery environment, partnering closely with engineering teams.
  • Experience owning or contributing to commercial metrics, such as adoption, usage, retention or revenue impact.
  • The ability to translate high‑level strategy into clear, prioritised roadmap increments with defined success measures.
  • Confidence working across disciplines — Product, Engineering, Commercial, Marketing and Customer Success — to deliver joined‑up outcomes.
  • A structured, analytical approach combined with a willingness to challenge assumptions and improve how things are done.

Desirable requirements:

  • Experience working with data-driven products or platform capabilities such as APIs, data platforms or AI-enabled services would be advantageous

Your approach to work:

  • Comfortable working at pace
  • Strong execution skills, including prioritisation, trade‑off decision‑making and incremental delivery.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Collaborative working style
  • Commercial
