FULL DESCRIPTION

COMPLIANCE & SDS MANAGER – CHEMICAL COMPLIANCE AND/OR SAFETY DATA EXPERIENCE FROM CHEMICALS OR MANUFACTURING REQUIRED

£50K - £55K + Benefits &Bonus   Hybrid (North or South  Yorkshire)

Key Responsibilities include;

  • Develop, update, and maintain SDS for all products in compliance with CLP, GHS, and other relevant regulations.
  • Ensure timely distribution of SDS to customers and stakeholders.
  • Monitor changes in regulations and standards related to chemical safety and ensure compliance across all products.
  • Liaise with regulatory agencies and industry groups to stay informed on best practices and compliance updates.
  • Provide training to internal teams and stakeholders on SDS compliance and understanding.
  • Assist in resolving any compliance-related questions or issues raised by customers or employees.
  • Maintain accurate records of all SDS and compliance-related documentation.
  • Ensure documentation meets quality standards and is readily accessible for audits.
  • Work closely with all departments to ensure accurate chemical information and compliance.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to communicate product safety information effectively.

This role requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in chemical compliance or safety data management with in-depth knowledge of CLP, GHS, and other relevant regulations, gained from experience in a manufacturing or chemical industry setting. NB Role is 3 days on site (free parking) and 2 WFH and you have use of a pool car when travelling to other locations but will need to have own car to access main location.
