Job Description

Our client, an expanding European Insurance Carriers Group, is now looking for set up in the UK. Duties include;

• Liaise with EU based Head Office & Compliance team to understand background of group's activities & needs
• Help plan the Authorisation Project including setting milestones
• Carry out all regulatory liaison with the PRA & FCA
• Prepare all required internal documentation regarding manuals, policies & procedures etc
• Prepare all Authorisation forms and handle all queries
• If time especially once forms submitted, assist in other aspect of the wider groups compliance projects
• Once authorised take on the SMF 16 & 17 Part Time (if will able & willing – if not, assist in process of recruiting such )

You should have experience in General Insurance and previously have handled at least one PRA Authorisation (& FCA advantageous). Also as their first UK hire, you should have an entrepreneurial approach to help drive this important  expansion for the Group. Immediate start if possible. NB Whilst remote, need to be a uk citizen able to attend the odd meeting in London if ever needed.
