the Team

We are a team of engineers experienced both in the design and manufacture of driving simulators, as well as their use in vehicle development. We develop, deliver and support outstanding, ground-breaking simulators and motion generators that enable the engineering which leads to winning performance on the track.

The Role

As a Simulation & Control Engineer, you will play a key role in commissioning, testing, and optimising [Employer hidden]’s world-leading driving simulators. You will work across a wide range of electrical, control and software systems, applying your technical expertise to ensure our simulators perform at the highest level for our automotive and motorsport customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Commission robotic software for our simulators in Bristol and at customer sites
  • Test, evaluate and continuously improve simulator performance
  • Integrate a broad range of electrical and control systems to create complete simulators
  • Diagnose and resolve software and hardware issues using telemetry data
  • Support customers by monitoring, maintaining and enhancing simulator software
  • Design and build test rigs using real-time systems, sensors and actuators

Skills and Experience:

  • Degree or background in Engineering, Robotics, Physics, Mathematics, or Computer Science
  • Experience in at least one high-level programming language (e.g. Python, MATLAB)
  • Methodical and rigorous approach to problem solving
  • Strong grasp of Physics and Mathematics fundamentals
  • Curiosity and passion for continuous improvement
  • Clear communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
  • Self-motivation, independence and a proactive approach to taking responsibility
