Capital Actuary

London

Hybrid, two days in office

Permanent / full-time

Responsibilities

You will be key to capital modelling and regulatory reporting (BSCR, SCR, RBC), support business planning and strategic transactions, and deliver clear capital insights to senior management and Boards. The role partners closely with Finance, Risk, Reserving, Treasury and M&A teams, contributing directly to capital optimisation, deal structuring and growth initiatives.

Candidate requirements

• Fellow of a recognised actuarial body (IFoA, CAS) • 5+ years’ non-life/reinsurance experience with strong capital exposure • Deep knowledge of Bermuda EBS or Solvency II (BSCR/SCR) • Experience with regulatory submissions (QRTs, ORSA/CISSA, FCR/SFCR) • Commercially minded, with strong communication and stakeholder skills • Advanced Excel proficiency • Contributing positively to our culture and values.
