Retrofit Scheme Manager

[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] Systems Group supplies and fits a range of improvements to both domestic and commercial properties to the highest standard. Combined, we have over 100 years of experience in the property improvement industry from insulation to windows, solar panels to heat pumps.

We are now looking to expand our team due to successfully securing multiple retrofit projects across the country.

As such, we are keen to secure a Retrofit Scheme Manager to manage our Social Housing Retrofit Scheme. The scheme falls under the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) which is a UK government initiative aimed at improving the energy efficiency of social housing.

The fund provides financial support to social housing providers, such as local authorities and housing associations, to retrofit their properties with energy-efficient measures.

The Scheme Manager will be responsible for managing the contract and to be the point of contact for all clients.

This is an office-based role; however, consideration may be given to hybrid working for the right candidate.

You will be required to…

  • Have experience in retrofit project delivery with a proactive attitude toward managing project timescales and potentially tight deadlines.
  • Have excellent client-facing skills and an organised project management approach
  • Possess strong analytical skills, you’re not afraid to challenge and speak up.
  • Be a team player and take accountability for your work.
  • Be proactive with the ability to use your own initiative.
  • Have the ability to take ownership and put the correct processes in place to ensure the scheme runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Skills & Qualifications

  • To lead and manage the scheme, manage resources and coordinate activities.
  • To have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • To feel confident in client-facing meetings
  • To have the ability to manage multiple tasks and work efficiently.
  • To have a level of knowledge and understanding in the Retrofit/PAS/Energy Saving sector.
