FULL DESCRIPTION

The Role

We are looking for a Risk Manager to support risk management activities for COP’s Pentland Floating Offshore Wind Project, ideally based in Edinburgh.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

  • Develop and maintain the project risk register and ensure risks are clearly documented and tracked.
  • Facilitate risk identification workshops with project teams and key stakeholders.
  • Support qualitative and quantitative risk assessments, including evaluation of schedule, cost, and delivery risks.
  • Monitor mitigation actions and ensure risk responses are implemented and tracked.
  • Promote a proactive risk management culture across the project organisation.
  • Support the integration of risk management into project planning and project controls processes.
  • Prepare regular risk reporting and analysis for project leadership and governance forums.

Your Experience

  • Experience working in risk management, project controls, or project management roles, ideally within large infrastructure, construction, or energy projects.
  • Experience supporting risk management frameworks and maintaining project risk registers in complex projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint for risk reporting and analysis. Proficiency in Risk Management tools like Oracle and Omega 365 would be considered a plus.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with a structured and proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify, assess, and communicate project risks effectively.
