Job Purpose As a Gas Installation Engineer with [Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk], you'll be responsible for installing gas appliances and central heating systems in client properties, adhering to Gas Safety Installation and Usage Regulations, Gas Safe requirements, and company standards.

Key Responsibilities • Install gas appliances and central heating systems, maintaining high standards for efficiency and safety. • Deliver top-quality service to clients, respecting each individual and overcoming installation challenges. • Conduct all work strictly following company procedures and industry standards: Gas Safe, Gas Regulations, and best practices.
Key Duties • Manage installation timelines and uphold [Employer hidden] quality standards. • Communicate professionally with residents and clients regarding project progress. • Ensure all PPE and equipment are calibrated, operational, and meet safety requirements. • Keep all appointments and update tenants/clients as needed. • Maintain personal responsibility for [Employer hidden] equipment, ensuring upkeep and care. • Stay updated on gas safety legislation relevant to your role. • Attend staff briefings and company functions to stay engaged with team goals. • Document all required reports, safety certificates, and timesheets accurately. • Participate in the Company Callout rota as needed.
Skills/Qualifications • Qualifications: CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1, CPA1, C&G Energy Efficiency, NVQ 2 (or equivalent). Unvented hot water systems preferred. • Skills: Strong fault-finding abilities, professionalism, punctuality, and familiarity with PDA/mobile device operations.
Experience Required • At least 3 years’ experience in gas installation projects, ideally within social housing. • Experience interacting directly with residents and clients. • A clean UK driving licence and DBS clearance are required. • Exposure to the renewables industry is beneficial.
