  • Salary: £65,000 – £85,000 per annum.
  • Office Based role with a 36.75 Working Week.

Financial Controller | Birmingham | £65,000 – £85,000

This crucial leadership role involves driving financial accuracy and commercial performance:

  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Manage cash flow forecasting and optimize working capital management.
  • Provide robust financial insights to support strategic business decisions.
  • Deliver detailed reporting on project and product-level profitability.
  • Support crucial pricing, tenders, and margin improvement initiatives.
  • Act as the finance lead for ERP system selection, configuration, and rollout (a major project).
  • Develop new finance processes aligned with new ERP system capabilities.

What do you need as a Financial Controller?

- Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) status is essential.

- Possesses senior finance experience within the manufacturing or engineering sectors.

- Proven record in strengthening financial controls and reporting integrity.

- Has led or played a senior role in ERP implementation projects (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Dynamics 365, Sage X3).
