We’re partnering with an amazing in-house design studio who are looking for a talented mid-senior interior designer to join on a full-time, permanent basis. With a minimum of five years experience, ideally in hospitality, this is a unique opportunity to join a luxury, timeless hotel group where heritage and history are at the heart of their story.
The company has a portfolio of 17 luxury hotels across the globe and is investing heavily in renovation projects over the coming years. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in that journey, working directly with the Design Director and collaborating closely with a small, passionate team on diverse and design-led hospitality projects. Based in a beautiful office just steps from Buckingham Palace, the role requires studio presence five days a week, though there is flexibility on Fridays once settled.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong design sensibility and the ability to respond to context, history and vision, with confidence in leading projects and engaging with clients, contractors and consultants. You will be equally comfortable developing creative concepts and producing detailed technical documentation, with solid supplier knowledge and procurement experience. Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite is essential, with rendering skills, styling or OS&E sourcing considered an advantage. Above all, they are seeking someone collaborative, proactive and independent, with excellent communication skills and a positive, solutions-focused approach.
In this role, you will take ownership of three to four small to mid-scale projects from concept through to completion, alongside smaller creative initiatives. As part of an in-house hospitality design team, your involvement will go beyond traditional interiors work, encompassing photoshoots, styling, brand expression and visual storytelling. This is a rare opportunity to not only deliver world-class 5* interiors but also to help shape a broader creative vision for one of the most prestigious names in luxury hospitality.
In return, our client offers a collaborative and supportive studio culture, a central London office environment with flexible Fridays after two months, and the chance to work on global hospitality projects. You will also benefit from an annual performance-based bonus, a comprehensive package including pension and healthcare and genuine opportunities for growth and travel within an inspiring international portfolio.
