Programme Overview
The Level 2 Autocare Technician Apprenticeship addresses the skills shortage by developing capable, confident, workshop-ready technicians with a blend of technical, diagnostic, and customer service training. Delivered through block release at our modern academies, this 24-month programme enables apprentices to carry out servicing, repairs and safety inspections on cars and light commercial vehicles. With access to industry-specialist trainers, on-the-job mentorship, and a fully mapped learner journey, this programme is built to deliver real workplace impact while meeting levy requirements and safeguarding your brand reputation.

Functional Skills If required, learners will complete Level 1 Functional Skills in maths and English using Skills Builder – our personalised online learning platform.

Progress Reviews You’ll receive regular updates on performance, feedback from coaches, and collaborative strategies to ensure successful completion.
End Point Assessment Assessment includes a multiple-choice test, a practical observation day, and a professional discussion based on the apprentice's portfolio.
Post-Completion Progression On completion, apprentices can move into Level 3 training or take on more responsibility in your workshop.
