Job Discerption:

  • Good knowledge of all popular south Indian dishes such as various flavors of ethnic fish curry, varieties of chicken curries, and beef dishes too.
  • The chef must have sound knowledge of taste difference of Travancore and Malabar dishes separately.
  • Perfect knowledge of portioning the dishes correctly.
  • Common South Indian breakfast such as Idli, Dosa, Puttu, Appam, Idiyappam etc, and Sambar, Rasam are part of daily menu, to be prepared with high expertise.
  • Enthusiastic and creative to form new dishes to blend with UK dishes as per the customer feedback
  • Follow all guidelines of food hygiene and health and safety measures.
  • Skillful to work under high demand of time, and able to manage the time effectively.
  • Entire responsibility for the cleanliness of the kitchen and the workspace.
  • Organized planner of menu focused on the South Indian taste.
  • Experience with various other food recipes and plating styles.
  • Familiar with Indian culinary cooking methods, products, and techniques.

There are no formal academic requirements for this position. However, we prefer candidates with Graduation or Diplomas in the Specified area of employment, and with minimum 1 year experience in the same area of employment is mandatory.
