#### Support Adults with Autism, Learning Disabilities & Complex Needs

Who You’ll Be Supporting:

At Unicare, we provide 24/7 supported living for adults aged 18–64 who have:
– Autism and learning disabilities
– Complex trauma and mental health challenges
– Behaviours that challenge
– High support needs with personal care, daily living, and emotional regulation

Each resident requires consistent, structured, and person-centred support to thrive in a safe and respectful environment.

What You’ll Do:

As a Support Worker, you will:
– Provide 1:1 personal care, emotional support, and life skills coaching
– Support individuals with hygiene, nutrition, medication, and managing routines
– Accompany residents to appointments, community activities, education, and volunteering
– Promote independence while ensuring safety and safeguarding at all times
– Help manage risks including self-neglect, emotional distress, and social vulnerability

What We’re Looking For:

– Kind, calm, and resilient individuals with a heart for care
– Experience supporting people with autism, LD, or mental health needs (desirable)
Willingness to train in:

  • Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)
  • Trauma-Informed Practice
  • Safeguarding & lone working protocols
  • Medication & daily living support

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
