Microsoft Dynamics 365 Developer

[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] are embarking on an ambitious, multi-year transformation program and are seeking a Dynamics 365 CE Developer to support our teams across our transformation initiatives. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Dynamics 365 Customer Service.  The Dynamics 365 Developer will play a crucial role in supporting & enhancing existing functionality along with building out greenfield Dynamics 365 Customer Services solution as we continue to grow and innovate.

Key Outcomes

Technical Experience:

  • Experience configuring Dynamics 365 CE, specifically in Customer Service environments.
  • Knowledge & experience working in a Managed D365 environment
  • Configuration of Power Automate to automate business processes
  • Deploying solutions using CI/CD pipelines (manual deployment to test & production environments will not be allowed)
  • Experience of Git source control
  • Support the CRM Architect in documentation and oversight of configuration and integrations between them.

Dynamics CRM Experience

  • Configuration of Tables, Views and Forms to support the Customer Services processes
  • Configuration of Business Process Flows within the context of CRM
  • Configuration of Security Roles
  • Configuration of Workflows and Power Automate Flows
  • Ability to develop plugins
  • Ability to develop JavaScript libraries
  • Any experience of Canvas Apps would be an advantage
  • Maintain up-to-date skills on new features, services, and cost models.

Project Responsibilities:

  • Working within the guidelines and to the objectives defined by any project or program currently running.
  • Working within an Agile sprint structure
  • Report task updates and status reports to any relevant project streams.
  • Prioritize work items and tasks based on project or program guidance.

Key Skills & Experiences

  • 5+ years Dynamics 365 development experience, preferably with Customer Engagement (CE/CRM)
  • Strong knowledge of Dynamics 365 Customer Service & Power Platform
  • Ability to design innovative, re-usable solutions and components.
  • Good working experience with SaaS solutions and integrations.
  • Experience of building plugins, workflows, cloud flows and logic apps.
  • Experience of designing integrations in Azure
  • Experience of building web apps in Azure a bonus.
  • Experience with ALM tools (e.g., Git for Enterprise, Azure Devops).
  • Experience integrating with SAP is a bonus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to analyse complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in a cloud and solutions architecture context.
  • Experience implementing access controls and governance policies.
