Business Development Manager Senior Sales Executive (£100K OTE + Car Allowance + Benefits)

About the Role

Your role is to drive sales growth and profitability by targeting key stakeholders in the apartments, blocks, and student accommodation sectors within the construction industry. You will play a pivotal role in expanding our presence, building relationships, and delivering industry-leading, regulation compliant solutions.

About You

- Proven track record in B2B sales, particularly within the construction industry. - Experience working on projects in the apartments, blocks, and student accommodation sectors. - Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. - Commercially aware, with the ability to identify client needs and propose effective solutions. - Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems

Highly Desirable Skills

- Knowledge of smoke ventilation systems, fire safety regulations, and construction standards. - Degree or equivalent in Building Services, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or Construction Management. - Experience interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and contracts. - Familiarity with M&E contracting and the design/installation processes for large residential developments. - Established network within the construction sector.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with architects, M&E contractors, consultants, developers, and other stakeholders within the apartments, blocks, and student accommodation sectors. - Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities, focusing on large-scale residential projects. - Deliver tailored sales presentations to showcase how our solutions align with industry standards and address client needs. - Prepare and submit professional, detailed quotations with clear project scopes. - Lead project handovers, ensuring seamless communication between sales and project delivery teams. - Support post-order processes, including client meetings and liaising with Project Managers to ensure successful implementation. - Create and present case studies that highlight completed projects, including technical details and visuals. - Maintain accurate records of client interactions and opportunities in the company CRM system. - Stay updated on fire safety regulations and standards, offering clients expert guidance.
