About the Role
We're looking for experienced electricians to join our growing EV installation team at Fusion. As an EV Charge Point Electrician, you’ll be responsible for installing and maintaining domestic and commercial EV charge points across various UK regions. With structured daily schedules, competitive packages, and clear progression routes, this role is ideal for skilled engineers looking to make an impact in the future of sustainable transport.
Key Requirements
###### Experience
Skilled in installing and maintaining electrical systems, with knowledge of EV charging technologies and relevant regulations.
###### Qualifications
Level 3 Electrical Installation (NVQ & AM2), 18th Edition. Preferred: EV Charging 2919, 2394/2392/2391 (Testing & Inspection), and SIP Qualification is preferred.
###### Customer Service Skills
Strong ability to deliver exceptional customer care and service.
###### Knowledge of EV Charging Technology
Familiar with how EV chargers work and the key standards and regulations that apply to domestic installations.
###### Driving Licence
A full, clean UK driving licence is required.
###### IT Literacy
Comfortable using digital job management systems, apps, or CRM tools (e.g., Onroute or similar).
###### Communication Skills
Clear, professional verbal and written communication, especially for customer-facing interactions and job reporting.
###### Time Management
Proven ability to manage time efficiently and work independently across scheduled jobs.
###### Flexibility
Willingness to participate in out-of-hours callouts or overtime if required.
###### Problem-Solving Skills
Able to diagnose and fix installation or technical issues efficiently and safely.
###### Vulnerable Customer Experience
Experience working in the homes of elderly or vulnerable customers, with a respectful and considerate approach.
###### Workload Efficiency
Consistently completes a minimum of 2 standard installations per day.
