Senior Business Analyst - Data

Aligned to one of our Data Domains, you will be working with multiple technical teams to deliver multiple initiatives.

Responsible for the elicitation, analysis, documentation and validation of requirements.

Working with Data Governance to update and maintain the Data Catalogue to ensure consistent definitions across the Business.

Create Business Process Models and Data Models, working with Data Information Architecture to visualise workflows and data structures.

Utilise deep questioning techniques with stakeholders to understand how data will be used, ensuring deliverables allow for actionable decision making.

Understand and document any areas of risk, dependencies, or compliance impacts.

Qualifications

You will have 3-5 years of experience working as a Business Analyst, ideally in an agile environment.

Proficiency in Requirements Engineering, translating Business needs into clear requirements and supporting the delivery of data products.

Experience creating Business Process Models and Data Models.

Strong analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills with the ability to simplify complexity.

Strong understanding of the Data Life Cycle and the intrinsic value of data.

You will have experience in working in a fast paced environment, managing competing workloads and prioritising appropriately.

You will have experience in line managing, coaching, mentoring and developing more junior colleagues or you will be looking to build on your line management or coaching experience.
