Responsibilities

- Design and deliver analytical support to key stakeholder groups to ensure we make the right decisions for our consumers & customers and drive business growth.

- Provide analysis and interpretation of company performance within market & customers, identifying opportunities and risks.

- Visiting stores & providing your assessment of growth opportunities.

- Experience with data sources such as GFK, IRI, Nielsen, Kantar, dunnhumby, Retail Link, Edge would be advantageous.

- Manage the day-to-day relationships with market data providers.

- Design and deliver a reporting suite which incorporates multiple data sources, to understand brand performance by Region, Channel, Category & Route to Market. This will require strong Excel skills.

- Building collaborative relationships with our retail partners, adopting a collaborative category approach to driving mutual growth. This will involve some travel to our retail partners.

- Assessment of the effectiveness of Company Events, Campaigns and Promotions.

- Defining an optimised brand range, with considerations for our brand, competitors, retail partners, distributors, market alignment, shopper and consumer insight.

- Oversee the development and integration of distributor & retail reporting to give greater understanding of range performance at a market/channel level.

- Analyse sales performance against activity plans at a brand/Category/SKU level.

- Support the NPD process with analysis to enable faster & better financial & sales performance, whilst capitalising on emerging market and consumer trends.

- Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications / Required Education and Experience:

- Bachelors or Masters degree or equivalent, preferably from a Business School or in a quantitative subject (maths, engineering, computer science, statistics, economics).

- 3-5 years work experience, preferably in marketing, business analytics, or an area that works closely with Sales/Marketing.

- Experience working across multiple geographies with currencies.

- Experience handling complex business models.

- Expert in Excel, good working knowledge of PowerPoint.

- Ability to build relationships with cross-functional partners.

- Strong data analysis skills and real attention to detail.

- Excellent presentation and communication skills (must be able to articulate the insights).

- Commercially aware, in-depth understanding of sales and margin models is critical.

- Ability to turn mass data into actionable insight.

- FMCG or consumer-facing industry experience preferred.

- Financial aptitude a must, financial background a plus.
